The Closet Weaver has taken up with a new girl friend. She's a pretty young thing. A four year old, black and white, gaited fox trotter and (to quote Kenny Rogers) "I think it's love". He's been hanging out with her every morning going for long rides in the country. She looks at him with those soft brown eyes and I can tell that they will be spending much more time in each others company. It's a good thing I'm not the jealous type.
Big Fun at Branson:
The Silver Dollar City Basket Seminar was just too much fun! Great to see all my old buds and make some new ones. Chateau on the Lake has a river running through it - now how's that for classy. If you look close you'd see critters on the banks but they never moved....how odd.
What's up Next:
We keep adding on events. First up in June is a visit to our good friends Beth Hester and Scott Gilbert at GH Productions in Scottsville, KY. We'll be teaching the wall pocket and the potato basket on June 12-13. It's our only stop in KY this year so don't miss us!

BYO-Antler Class:
It's new! If you ever wanted to the secrets of my discussions with antler this is the class for you. Bring your own antler and I'll show you the language to talk "antler". If you don't have any of your own to work on I've got a stash to share. Drilling, shaping, gluing, tricks with masking tape and bracing shared. Jill tells all in this birthing of a antler basket class. It happens in Garfield, Arkansas on June 27th.
It's a dog thing:

The Lake Country Guild of WI is hosting the DOUBLE DOG LEG. A two day workshop on Jun 19-20 as well as a hen basket class on the 18th. The Double Dog Leg is well.... just cool. Learn how to use color and pattern to spiral and create arrows. The best yet from the mind of Jill.
