Ripping down the house

Ripping Down the House:
If you can't fix it, rip it, that's my motto. We had BLACK mold on the walls upstairs. The neighbor told me stories of families that had incurred respiratory failure because of BLACK mold. She told me about houses that were condemned because the BLACK mold plague had invaded their interiors. She told me it could be mold that was black or it could be....BLACK mold.

Well it scared the bejesus out of me. I could feel the congestion in my lungs already. Therefore, we ripped the walls out. Evidently in the absent time (when we were in AK) the ridge cap had come up on the roof and rained poured in for who knows how long. Therefore the mold. When we got 'er opened up we found fun things like rats nest, dehyrated rat, and mouse droppings (oh my). Now we have an opening to the world via the roof until things dry up some. I tell Jennah that the rats are going to drop down on her head in the night so now she sleeps the other way. Bad Mama (grins).

Double Dogger Done:
The Double Dog Leg is done once again but they seem to be growing. For some reason each consecutive one that I make gets bigger. Wonder what's up with that. It's headed to Brian in West Plains the next time I go shopping that way. Now we're playing with twill in the baskets - oooooo, aaaah. Can't wait to see what Jenn comes up with or me for that matter.
